The baritone is one of my favorites! (OK, they’re all my favorites). This baby goes from G2 (bottom of bass clef staff) to G4 (2nd line of treble staff). The bars are made of ash, and they get a nice, full, resonant sound. Check out the pictures below.

In my class, I usually double the bass part with the low end of the baritone. Sometimes I am able to use two players and add a tenor part on the upper end of the baritone
